Request a Consultation

When you need more than a brief answer, request one-on-one help. Consultation appointments are available to Jefferson faculty, staff, students, and Scott Library members. Learn about:

  • Using Scott Library resources.
  • Structuring a research strategy, choosing databases and search terms.
  • Identifying funding sources for research projects.
  • Using RefWorks bibliographic management software.
  • Your individual information needs.

For group training, please contact Educational Technologies.

Most consultations require an hour or less, and are available at no cost. In-depth research services are available for a fee, negotiated on a case-by-case basis. Examples of research projects include:

  • Verification of citation lists.
  • Development of Web resources.
  • Citation analysis.
