This presentation is open to all interested Jefferson faculty and staff and will include timely information important across the whole continuum of medical education and the academic medical center. Issues facing national and local health systems, the nature and scope of quality improvement efforts that are needed, and how to apply new approaches to continuing education in keeping with AAMC's experience with its Education for Quality initiatives will be discussed. A question and answer period will follow.
Dr. Davis is family physician with long involvement in the worlds of continuing medical education, continuing professional development, faculty development and the evaluation of related activities. In addition, he is recognized as a seminal author in the field. In his current role at AAMC, he is focused on the academic medical center and creating new models for effective, performance-based continuing education.
