The Roles of Health Professions videos and information sheets are free educational resources available to enhance understanding of the roles and functions of members of the healthcare team. It has been designed to meet educational needs identified by faculty, staff, and students. Each video is a discussion by the dean/chair of the selected profession and is supplemented with an information sheet including:

  • Educational requirements
  • Certification(s)
  • Roles and functions
  • Practice settings

The target audience for the videos and information sheets are:

  • Students
  • Educators
  • Practitioners
  • General Public

This project has been supported by Jefferson InterProfessional Education Center (JCIPE) and Eastern Pennsylvania/Delaware Geriatric Education Center (EPaDGEC) and created by Deans and faculty members from nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy, medicine, radiological sciences, bioscience technologies, couple and family therapy, pharmacy, basic sciences, general studies, public health, health policy and population health.
