Program Overview
JCIPE's Interprofessional Education and Practice Winter Immersion Program offers an in-depth opportunity to highlight interprofessionalism in your educational or practice setting. This intensive one-day program consists of brief didactic and interactive segment followed by time devoted to planning your interprofessional education or care project (with peer and mentor input).

Participants will be mentored by JCIPE Co-Directors and Jefferson faculty with expertise and experience in planning, delivering, and evaluating interprofessional education projects.

Target Audience
This program is designed for:

  • Educators and Clinical Practice Leaders
  • Health Professional Program Directors
  • Individuals interested in pursuing interprofessional education or practice initiatives.

Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of the Immersion Experience, participants will be able to:

  1. Increase knowledge of general principles of interprofessional education as applied to education and/or practice settings.
  2. Design an interprofessional educational and/or practice initiative that fosters collaborative learning at home institution.
  3. Understand the methodology for evaluating new interprofessional education and/or practice initiatives.
  4. Identify the use of on-line resources, instructional technology and learning systems in interprofessional education and/or practice initiatives.
