Library FAQ

How do I find journal articles about my subject?

1) Use one of the over 70 databases available online to Jeffersonians. Some of the most utilized biomedical databases, such as PubMed, Ovid, CINAHL and Scopus, provide Jefferson links for accessing full-text articles and library resources only available in hard copy. Place interlibrary loan requests (ILLiad) for items the library does not own.

2) Browse and search journals by title from the Journal Search page.

3) Reference librarians are available to consult with you about your research project. Consultations are free. The librarians can help you to find appropriate databases, develop search strategies, format references in correct style, and more.
