How do I place a hold on a book that is checked out by someone else?
Contact the Service Desk staff by phone (215-503-6994) or in-person to place a hold on the item for you. They will notify you by phone when the book is returned and available for check out at the Service Desk. Books are kept on hold for one week only and they are then returned to the 4th floor.
Alternatively, once a checked-out item is located in the online library catalog, a hold request may be placed after logging into the personal library account.
