FAQ Search Results

Where are the journals?

Journals may be in one of several locations:
  • Many journals are now available in electronic form exclusively. Check our journals A-Z list for electronic holdings.
  • Bound volumes are on the 3rd floor
  • Recreational reading magazines (current issues only) are on the 2nd floor
In each area, titles are arranged alphabetically.

If you cannot locate a journal on the shelf, try the following:

  • check the library catalog for issue-by-issue holdings information
  • look in the photocopy areas for issues waiting to be reshelved
  • check under an acronym, such as AJR for the American Journal of Roentgenology
  • ask for help at the Reference Desk or Circulation Window
