FAQ Search Results

How do I find journal articles about my subject?

1) Use one of the over 100 databases available online to Jeffersonians. Some of the most important biomedical databases such as PubMed, Ovid, CINAHL and Scopus contain Jefferson links on each citation to access full-text articles, identify those available only in hard copy in the library, or place ILLiad requests for items the library does not own.

2) Browse journals by subject from the Journals page.

Reference librarians are available to consult with you about your research project. Consultations are free. The librarians can help you to find appropriate databases, develop search strategies, format references in correct style, and more.

Consult the A-Z list of databases to find a database appropriate for your subject.
Check the Journals page to browse Scott Library subscriptions by title or subject.
