FAQ Search Results

When Scott Memorial Library doesn't own journal articles or books you need for your Jefferson coursework or research, we will order them for you from other libraries through our Interlibrary Loan service. We'll also photocopy articles from our own collections and send them to you as a convenience service. Please note that both of these are fee-based services.

All interlibrary loan and document requests must be made online using the ILLiad software. First-time users will be asked to register for their account.

Fees

• Students receive 10 free Interlibrary Loan or document delivery requests per academic year August through July. Thereafter, charges accrue at the standard delivery rate of $5 per item.
• The fee for Jeffersonians is $5 per requested item payable via cash or interdepartmental charge code.

Estimated Delivery Time

• Articles/book chapters: 1 or more days
• Books: 7 or more days
• Rare & hard to find materials may take longer
