What is an Interdepartmental Transfer Code ?

Jefferson staff use Interdepartmental Transfers (IDT) instead of cash to have their department pay for library services--such as Interlibrary Loans and mediated searches. The codes are composed of 18 digits in the format XXX-XXXXX-XXXX XXXXXX; the first of which designates your Jefferson division, followed by department, followed by the natural account code, and finally the grant number (if necessary). Ask your departmental administrator for the code to use.
