AISR Staff Directory

James Robinson

James Robinson is a Library Technician for AISR's Access Services Department. You'll meet James at the 2nd floor Circulation Window and in the Learning Resources Centers.

Interests & Expertise

James is responsible for:

  • Fielding requests at the Circulation Window and Learning Resources Centers, such as checking out books, selling copy cards and other items, collecting fines, registering new users, and updating patron records.
  • Maintaining Library photocopiers, including clearing jams and replacing toner.
  • Preparing new books to circulate.
  • Sending you gentle reminders when materials you've ordered are ready for you to pick up.
  • Making sure books and journals are shelved where you expect to find them.

Whenever you need help in the Library, James is on the front line, ready to assist you!

Background & Training

James went to Temple University and graduated cum laude with majors in History and American Studies.

Personal & Professional Activities

James writes book reviews for fun and volunteers at a bookstore. He also enjoys riding bikes, the Philadelphia Eagles, and watching movies.
