Ann Koopman, AM
Ann Koopman is the editor of JEFFLINE and the manager of the Jefferson Digital Commons. She supports the JEFFLINE
communities and AISR's electronic resources available via JEFFLINE.
She assists faculty with self-archiving, supports original publications in the Commons, and teaches AISR's copyright workshop. She also assists in staffing the reference desk and writes the AISR News blog.

Background & Training
A librarian for over 25 years, Ann was previously the manager
of the Information Services Department at Scott Memorial Library.
Before coming to Jefferson in 1995, she was the Science &
Engineering Reference Librarian at Indiana University - Purdue
University at Indianapolis (IUPUI). Her master's is from the Graduate
Library School of the University of Chicago. Her AB from Lawrence
University was in anthropology and religion.
Professional Activities
Ann is the Past-Chair of the
Science-Technology Division of the Special Libraries Association
(SLA), and has served on the boards of Sci-Tech and the local SLA Philadelphia Chapter for many years. She is also a member of the American Library Association
(ALA), the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL),
and the Philadelphia Chapter of the Medical Library Association (MLA).
