Dorothy Berenbrok

Dorothy Berenbrok is a part-time technician in the Information Services department. She provides reference services at the Information Desk and via the Ask A Librarian email service.

Interests & Expertise

Dorothy is the FAQ editor, and assists with Jeffline Security. Contact her for support with:

• assistance in finding and using Scott Library print and electronic resources,
• off-campus access to JEFFLINE,
• use of bibliographic citation management software, and
• resolution of Campus Key and other JEFFLINE access issues.

If you use the Ask a Librarian service to send questions or comments to the Reference Department, Dorothy may be the person who will answer.

Background & Training

Dorothy has been a Jeffersonian since 1992. She worked in the Emergency Department as a clinical secretary before joining the Scott Library staff as a Circulation Technician in early 2003.

She is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science at Drexel University.

Personal and Professional Activities

Outside of work and school, Dorothy spends most of her time enjoying the company of her family – her husband Tom, and her son Warren (born on November 25, 2005). Sometimes she even manages to find time for her favorite hobby, quilting.

She is a student board member of Drexel's College of Information Science & Technology Alumni Association, and she volunteers at her church as a member of the Web Page team.
