The Gold Humanism Honor Society Members: Zein Nakhoda
Zein Nakhoda is a fourth year medical student at Jefferson Medical College and is planning on going into urology. He completed his undergraduate education at Penn State University, where he was involved in Science Lions--an organization that collaborated with local schools to foster an interest in science through interactive science projects and experiments.
During his time at Jefferson, Zein has been actively involved in the American Medical Association. As president of the local chapter, he helped organize several health fairs, educational talks, and lobbying efforts for healthcare reform, culminating in winning the national chapter of the year award. He has also been involved in JeffHOPE, the student-run clinic, by serving as a coordinator on the JeffHOPE for Kids committee, on the medical team as an upper-year student, and as a substitute director. He was recently inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society, and looks forward to his involvement in the society.
Zein chairs the Recognition of Humanism Committee of the Gold Humanism Honor Society.
