The official Jefferson mug.Food and Beverage Policy

We ask for your cooperation in keeping the Library and Learning Resources clean while enjoying beverages.

Clear and simple rules:

  1. Beverages are allowed in any sealable container, i.e., soda bottles, juice bottles, Nalgene® bottles, sealable coffee mugs, etc. No cardboard, aluminum cans or Styrofoam containers are allowed.

  2. No food.

  3. Dispose of all trash properly.

  4. This policy applies to the public and study areas of Scott Memorial Library, AISR Learning Resources Centers and Labs.

Jefferson mugs are available for purchase in the TJU Bookstore for $3.95.

We thank the student representatives who worked with AISR staff to develop and test this policy in the spring of 2003 and who worked with us to update this policy in 2005.

Enjoy!
