Print Journals
(Second and Third Floors. See our hours.)
While most of the current journals are now available electronically, the Library still subscribes to some in print, either because they are in high demand or are not available electronically. The Library's collection of older journals extends well back into the 1800s.
All journals are shelved alphabetically by journal title. Current journal issues are shelved in the current journal area on the second floor at the top of the stairs. When bound, they move to the bound journal shelves along the south side of the second floor.
Journals from 1995 to the present are shelved on the second floor; all journals prior to 1995 are on the third floor.
Search the library catalog, ThomCat, to find out what the Library owns in print. You may search the catalog by author, title, series, periodical title, word or phrase, or subject. The catalog will tell you if an item is available or checked out. Search the electronic journal collection online access.
Bound journals may be checked out overnight. Unbound journals may not be taken from the Library.
