  • Calendar
    Choose any point in the perpetual calendar by month & year.
  • Common Weights and Measures (Univ. of California - Berkeley)
    Mathematical notation, metric prefixes, and common equivalent weights and measures.
  • Encyclopedia.Com
    This site contains a searchable database of free text-based information from The Concise Columbia Encyclopedia, 3rd ed. Photographs and images available to subscribers.
  • History of the World Timeline (History Channel)
    Use this Web site to find historical events chronologically by century. Also, use This Day in History to find events that occurred on a specific day of the year.
  • Holt Report Index Page (Turnpike)
    Daily investment and stock information.
  • Mapquest
    Allows the user to search by address or three digit telephone area code to receive a printable map of a geographic area. This site will also provide driving directions between two addresses or two cities and allow you to download these instructions to your "PDA".
  • Periodic Table of the Elements
    Use an online version of this standard reference tool.
  • PubList
    A searchable directory of over 150,000 U.S. and international periodicals in print or electronic format.
  • Telephone Area Codes (AmeriCom)
    Don't call directory assistance for that area code - look here for area codes in the U.S. and Canada.

  • Time and Date.com
    This site provides calendars from 1993-2006 for a number of countries, based on their national calendar and language. Additionally, the site provides the current time for every time zone. Time-specific information for major cities is also provided, such as sunrise and sunset.
  • United States Zip Code look-up
    A simple-to-use directory. You can type in the address and get the zip code. Also useful for +4 zip codes.
