  • MEDLINE Plus: News
This site includes all types of health news of the past 30 days. Information is from major news outlets such as the New York Times, Reuters Health, and United Press International. Stories are arranged by date, with a by subject option also available. Outbreak related news is included.

  • News from CDC & WHO (International Society of Travel Medicine)

  • ProMED (International Society of Infectious Diseases)
A free daily report, available by email and Web, summarizes information on outbreaks of infectious diseases and acute exposures to toxins that effect human health. Sources of information include media reports, official reports, online summaries, local observers, and ProMED-mail subscribers. Messages are screened before posting by a team of experts. The Program for Monitoring Emerging Diseases (ProMED) was established in 1994, and is now a program of the International Society for Infectious Diseases.

  • Traveler's Health: Outbreaks (CDC)
This is a listing of disease outbreak warnings for both international and domestic travel.
