Wireless Laptop Service

Macbook laptops may be checked out from the 2nd floor Circulation Window of Scott Memorial Library. The laptops may be used ONLY in the Scott Memorial Library. Once Jeff-IT activates your wireless account, the laptop computers will provide access to the Internet from anywhere within the Library.

To activate a wireless account, send an email from your Jefferson.edu account to wireless@jefferson.edu. Students should include their Campus Key, full name, school in which they are enrolled, daytime and evening telephone numbers, and the type of computer they will be using. Or you may stop in to the Jeff-IT Customer Support Center on the 20th Floor of the Edison Building at 130 S. 9th Street.

To check out a laptop computer, you will need your Jefferson photo ID card, which will be held until you return the computer. In addition, you will be required to sign an agreement stating that you understand the policies for use of the laptop computers.
