JEFFLINE for Main Line Health Clinicians, Managers and Educators

Objectives

This session will provide Main Line Health staff with the information and techniques to address clinical, managerial, and educational information needs using JEFFLINE. As the knowledge resource for the Jefferson Health System, JEFFLINE will be introduced via demonstration and hands-on practice. OVID databases, especially MEDLINE, Healthstar, & CINAHL will be compared. An overview of JEFFLINE resources will be complemented by an in-depth look at several key components. Presentation and practice for locating Internet resources will include tailoring search engine capabilities, using meta-search engines, and appropriate citing of resources.
