Introduction & Foundation

Welcome! (Page 1 of 8)

We created this website to provide continued support for your web-based instructional materials following the MLA-631 course: Developing Web-Based Instruction.

If you have already taken the course, you will recognize the introductory sequence below.

Teacher to classroom: "Please raise your hand if you have used the web to learn something."
(Teacher and students can observe how many raise their hands.)
Teacher then calls on a student who raised their hand: "Please tell us what you were trying to learn."
(Student tells teacher and class what they were trying to learn.)
What kinds of information was exchanged in this interaction? How might this interaction look on the web?
