Learning Resources: Evaluation: Course Requirements: Examinations
The Mid-Term and Final Examination will together count for 60% of your course grade. The Mid-Term will cover information presented in the assigned readings, lectures, and case studies presented during the first five weeks of the course. The Final Examination will emphasize material covered in the second half of the course. Questions on gastrointestinal pathology will appear on the Final Examination.

Approximately one-fourth of the test items will be based on the identification and interpretation of Kodachrome slides projected onto a screen at the front of the classroom. These pictures of gross and microscopic pathology will be taken from figures in the required textbook and images included in the Pathology Case Studies. These images are posted online inside the Discussion Board (see Mid-Term and Final Examinations). This folder also contains a list of open ended study questions. I plan to select about 20 of these questions for the exam - rewritten as multiple choice items.

Each test will contain about 150 items. Testing formats will include multiple choice and extended matching (single best answer). Use a number 2 pencil to record your answers on the scantron sheet. You will have two hours to complete each test.

Note: If you are unable to attend an examination due to an emergency, please contact the Pathology Teaching Office at 503-5026 - Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM.
