Statistics

  • Administration on Aging: Statistics on the Aging Population
    Contains statistical information and estimates on older Americans. Most of the data comes from the census, the Department of Health Human Services and individual states. A majority of the information is in PDF format.

  • AgingStats.gov (FIFARS)
    The Federal Interagency Forum on Aging-Related Statistics (FIFARS) brings together statistics from the Census Bureau, Administration on Aging, Social Security Administration, and many other U.S. agencies. Statistics are gathered in regular reports.

    • Data Sources on Older Americans (FIFARS)
      The Federal Interagency Forum on Aging Related Statistics provides an overview of stats available from a periodic survey of all Federal sources of information on aging Americans. The PDF publication is 153 pages with links to data sources.

  • Aging Activities (NICHS)
    This section of the National Center for Health Statistics Web site contains statistics on aging.

  • Demographic Information: Division of Services for Aging (State of Delaware) (DSAAPD)
    Aging and disability statistics for the state of Delaware.
