This year the symposium, April 29 and 30 is the largest yet. The growing use of computers in medical education combined with the success of past symposia have attracted international attention to this event. At the time Medibytes went to press there were over 300 registered attendees from: 70 universities, 32 hospitals, 22 states and 6 countries!
On the international agenda, this year there is a presentation on the status of healthcare education in Panama. Additionally, a special pre-symposium guest lecture by Milan Jira, M.D., Ph.D. from Charles University, Prague, Czech Republic on "Computer Networks & Medical Education in the Czech Republic" is scheduled for Wednesday April 28th at 12:00 noon in Solis-Cohen Auditorium, Jefferson Alumni Hall.
Jefferson welcomes all the symposium attendees to our campus! If you have any questions about our facilities, please contact one of the symposium staff members.
