PowerPoint Pearls: 3-D AutoShapesA few issues ago we used the Drawing toolbar to insert a block arrow type AutoShape. (Inserting an AutoShape) Another feature that you'll find on the Drawing toolbar is the 3-D Style. Although this feature can be used with many types of drawing objects, it is not as powerful as you might like. For example, applying the 3-D Style to a circle will only create a cylinder, not a sphere. On a more positive note, I have seen some very nice illustrations created in PowerPoint.
