Educational Measurement Series

Evaluation is one of the most challenging tasks an educator faces. It may be difficult to remain objective when trying to determine which factors are responsible for deficits in the learners' performances. As the evaluator, you must ask yourself, "Did they miss the point because I taught it poorly, because they didn't study, or because the test question was ambiguous?" This series presents some practical suggestions for successful evaluations.
