AISR Staff DirectoryPatricia Wynne, BSN, MSPat Wynne is the Associate University Librarian for Information and Clinical Support Services. Pat provides information research support to the Jefferson Hospital clinical staff and various university departments. She manages the Information Services group in Scott Memorial Library. Interests & ExpertisePat has extensive search experience with biomedical and business databases and is an expert trainer for many of these databases. She also has significant project management experience for projects related to evaluation of databases, user requirements, and roll-out of new products. In her role as Associate University Librarian for Information and Clinical Support Services she has initiated and supports the Virtual Nursing Journal Club for the TJUH nursing staff and assists with nursing research projects for hospital staff, university nursing students, and faculty. She is piloting an information support program to clinicians at the point of care which involves attending rounds with physicians, residents, and students and providing answers to queries via mobile devices. Background & TrainingPrior to obtaining a MS degree in Information Science from Drexel University, Pat worked as a registered nurse for many years. She obtained a BS in Nursing from Gwynedd Mercy College. Pat has 15 years of experience in the information profession. Professional ActivitiesPat is an Adjunct Instructor for the School of Nursing. She is a member of the Medical Library Association (MLA). Personal InterestsPat enjoys hiking, yoga, and reading in her spare time. |
