Christopher Castellano

Chris is a Video Production Specialist for Medical Media Services. He produces media requiring video and audio, and assists faculty, staff and physicians in using video to enhance their teaching, research, patient care and promotional functions of the University.

Background & Training

Chris received his B.A. in Broadcast Journalism from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University. He spent over ten years working for television news and professional sports in Arizona and Colorado as an editor, writer, producer and videographer. His work has appeared on CNN, CW, Fox, TruTV and NFL.com. Chris also works as a freelance writer and has been published in both major and alternative newspapers across the country.

Personal Interests

A self-professed cinephile, Chris enjoys seeing movies in the theaters at least once a week. Unwilling to discriminate, he loves the implausible action blockbuster, quirky indie comedy and esoteric foreign documentary all the same. He would appreciate however, if you would please remain silent after the previews. Seriously.

When not at the theaters, he spends his time visiting unusual roadside attractions, infamous haunted hotels, obscure used book stores and anyplace that claims to have the best burger.
