Access to JEFFLINE for our Hospital Affiliates
Several area hospitals serve as training sites for Jefferson students.
Most of these affiliate hospitals have libraries. Scott Library staff are
eager to support Jefferson students at all affiliate sites. Communication
of students' needs and providing support to area librarians serving Jefferson
students are a high priority for Scott Library staff.
Affiliate librarians enjoy many benefits -
- Invitation to an annual meeting
- Access to Scott Library during regularly scheduled hours
- The opportunity for group purchase of databases and products
- Discounted interlibrary loan fees
- JeffDocs document delivery services for items owned by Scott Library
- Borrowing privileges for Scott Library's print collection
- Free Education Services workshops
- Access to the services of Medical Media Services
at the same fees as Thomas Jefferson University customers
The staff of our current
affiliates enjoy a variety of privileges,
as well.
Access to Full-Text Resources
Much of JEFFLINE is freely accessible to any user via the Internet. However,
some portions of JEFFLINE are licensed for use by specific populations and
require a Jefferson Campus Key and password for access. Restricted services
include most databases, electronic books and online journals.
Hospital affiliates who wish to join our consortial purchasing program
may elect to purchase selected products and obtain Jefferson Campus Keys
for their employees. Interested participants may join at any time. Our
current partners include Albert Einstein Healthcare Network, Methodist
Hospital, and Nemours.
