Jefferson Digital Commons Getting Under Way
  • Do you wonder what all the buzz is about “self archiving?”

  • When you sign a license with a journal for publication of your article, do you sometimes wonder whether you have the right to post your article on your own departmental site?

  • Do you wonder how to get your work into Google?

  • Have you been looking for a way to build an electronic portfolio of your published work?

The Jefferson Digital Commons is coming soon, and AISR's helpful staff can help you to sort out all your questions.

The Digital Commons will invite your participation in depositing the full text of your articles. AISR staff can determine your publisher's rules and help with the deposit and description of your material.

And once your work is loaded, it will automatically be harvested by Google and other search engines, as well as new research tools like Scopus and Scirus.

Please contact Edward Tawyea at 215-503-8848 or Edward.Tawyea@jefferson.edu for further information about the Jefferson Digital Commons.
