Spotlight on Jefferson Authors
Within the Scott Library's Special Collections division, located in the Archives on the 4th floor, is the Jeffersoniana Collection. This collection is composed of books authored or edited by Jefferson faculty and staff during their tenure at the University (in most cases there is also a circulating copy of the book in the stacks). The main purpose of this collection is to document the publishing history of the University. We are always happy to discover new titles to add to the collection, however it isn't easy to identify them as they are published. I encourage those of you who have authored or edited monographs or series volumes in the past few years to search Thomcat to see if the Library has a Jeffersoniana copy and if not to notify me of your work, or better yet donate a copy to the Library if you can. Thank you for your assistance in making this collection a true reflection of the work and scholarship of our educational and research community.
